    Hello,

I’ve got a problem with my local copy of a site. It works on remote server fine, no errors, but when I try to save documents on XAMPP local server, I get this error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\...\manager\includes\user_settings.inc.php:51) in C:\xampp\htdocs\...\manager\processors\save_content.processor.php on line 605

The data is saved, but I have to reopen the documents everytime. The second part of warning is changing depending whether it’s a doc, chunk, etc. So I gues the problim is with "manager\includes\user_settings.inc.php:51" part. The problem was with even a fresh install of MODx.

    How could I fix this?
    I would apreciate any advice.

    Remote server:
    Apache ver.: 2.2.10 (Unix)
    PHP version: 5.2.5
    MySQL version: 4.1.22-standard
    OS: Linux (Kernel 2.6.18-53.1.14.el 5PAE )

    Local server (XAMPP v1.6.8):
    Apache ver.: 2.2.9 (Win32)
    PHP version: 5.2.6 (CGI/1.1)
    MySQL version: 5.0.67-community
OS: WinXP SP3 (Windows NT 5.1 build 2600)

    MODx 0.9.6.3-RC2
    Mozilla Firefox 3
MODx is great! Thanks for great work!

Do me a favor and open up manager/includes/user_settings.inc.php. First of all there should not be 51 lines; there are only 28 in fact. If there are only 28 in your copy, try deleting the closing php tag on the next to last line and saving it.

OpenGeek, You’re my Hero! My user_settings.inc.php file somehow got empty lines inserted every line. Checked with a fresh one from web and fixed. It works now. Thank You again! laugh
