Log In Problems

I’ve uploaded the latest install package (clean install) 0.9.6.2. When I try to run the index.php in the install file, my browser stalls and the following error message is recorded by my web host:

the host is running PHP 5

I’m not clear on what other settings I should be requesting from them to assist this report. I know they enabled CGI scripting and that I can edit my php.ini files if necessary.

When I asked if they could adjust the "vhost.conf" file as had worked for another poster, they said that this would not work on a shared platform.

Just to make sure, you did attempt the install with http://yoursite.com/install, right?
