    Hi

    I have configured google analytics in my site. But when I took the reports there is no data available.

    I did these procedures;
    1. downloaded the google latest google analytics
    2. paste the content in a new plugin named ’google analytics’
    3. configured it as mentioned in the document ( entered the google account and set OnWebPagePrerender )
    4. created google analytics account in google.

    Is it need to include that plugin in my template ? if so how?

    The status is shown as "Receiving Data". But visits shown as zero.

    Is there any further configuration needed ?

    Pls help...

    thanks

      Google analytics are usually about 1 day old, so if you did this today don’t expect to see results until tomorrow.

        thanks for the reply, But is there any way to fix user name and password to google analytics such as when the user logged into MODx manager, he can see the reports without login again. Now we created a new tab and analytics page shown within the manager window. But it need to login again and then it displays in another window.

        thanks

          Since your modx installation uses its own database, and GA runs off of Google’s servers, I am about 99.9% sure you can’t have the login synch with your database. I don’t know much about that, but it doesn’t seem possible to me. You might just have to live with it, or somehow create a script that injects the Username and Password when that user opens the GA tab in the manager... but again, I don’t know if that is possible.
