We should be using those comments at bottom of the docs, I notice Susan has done so in some places.

That's why its so important to link relevant data together.

Threads like this are also so important, people can search for updated info and find it easily.

But digging through the tough docs and few examples each time is a chore without a doubt. More examples lol!! I've always tried to show work in order to make it easier to copy.

That's also why its great when users like Andy Tough (and many others) post complete solutions and processes, but of course only for some extras/solutions. We need more of this, but it cuts into the bread and butter of the dev's work so its tricky.

Still, we all win if we can continue to spur adaptation. @Gerben is right to push for improvements.

My conviction is that if MODX wants to be in the CMS race, documentation and tutorials are key. MODX is pretty simple to use, but not without good intructions.
