I’ve been working on a simple database record locking code and it works reasonable well. Unfortunately though I’ve found that a record becomes "locked" when I know the locking function is not called. It’s a puzzle that is tying me in knots and I was wondering if anyone is willing to help me out and give me a second opinion of what could be happening?
Are there any takers out there with a little time?
Well it baffled me for long enough but I found that bug.
I had javascript running via onclick against html tag <TR>. The code would start a process that would lock the record even though a URL contained within a cell would take you somewhere different.
