There is a problem - meta-keywords tag is generated and inserted automatically, and I see no way to change it, but all pages are marked up in HTML, but meta-keyword is inserted in XHTML format, that means it has trailing slash. How can I make it to be inserted in HTML format, because it’s the only one thing that breaks validation?
May be any additional information is necessary?
I think you need to upgrade yourself to xhtml in order to get use of modx and its features.
//Its worth it.
Well, I’ve thought about choosing markup format, and got a decision to use HTML. There are a lot of reasons not to use XHTML.
Does it mean I can’t change format of autogenerated tags?
What is the meta that get automatically inserted? Have you selected any keywords for your documents in the manager and have
you made sure there is no metas in your template?
In my template are meta content-type and meta description. When I add some keywords to the document I see the meta keywords tag automatically inserted in the source code. And It had trailing slash. I just need to remove it.
Resources --> Manage Resources ---> Templates ---> edit the one you use!
If using HTML you have to add meta tags manually.
dev_cw, thanks a lot!
I think that’s what I need! I just couldn’t find on myself where to change the source... But I still am a bit upset that there is no such an option in manager panel.
