    Hey,

I have instaled yesterday modx-2.6.5-pl and a single page template (working on modx-2.2.15-pl).

I am surprised... Front end is working only if I am logged on manager. But in case I am NOT LOGGED on manager I get in FRONT END 500 ERROR (or white page in Firefox Mozilla) and /manager is working well.

Please, any ideas on how I can recover?

    Linux, PHP Version 5.4.45

    Thanks,
    Petr

Make sure your pages are published and not part of any user group

Paulp, many many thanks! (I am sorry, I´m newbie in modx;-). It can be the reason... (I didn´t know I must in special way set "publish the site" after instalation (???).

OK, I found the settings and in publish_default i see "NO" (please see the attachment). But the changing the settings didn´t help. If I change the settings on YES... this didn´t help to solve the problem.

Please, where to find settings around "user group"? Or any other idea?

This setting affects the default behaviour for each new resource you create.

If you go to your home page resource in the manager you should see a 'Publish' button that is not ticked on the right hand side of the page as you are editing it. Tick this and save the resource. It should now be published and available to non logged in users.

            Of course it was it!
Many many thanks to Andy Tough and Paulp - you were right...
Even though I'm a newbie in modx, I could have done it... I´m sorry and thanks once more!
