I want to present a news page with friendly URLs as the subject describes, but how do I make the relative path structure?
I first considered some way of automatically generating a structure of container documents if a news item is added where no path exists (such as 1/1 2009).
This seems rather tedious though (doesn’t it?
) as the structure would have to gently collapse on itself if the single news item was removed.
So instead I’m hoping there is a way to simply generate a friendly path - with sub-directories. Should I look to .htaccess or is there a better way?
