Answered Resources not showing up in tree in manager after upgrade to 2.6.5

    Probably not, but was the site a really old version of MODx? That extra is wonderful (thanks, Bob!) but I find that it's reliable as of about version 2.3.0 or so. I have tried it on sites before that but, although it appears in the landing page as of version 2.2.6, it does not work properly when you try to use it. I manually upgrade up to 2.3.0 and then install and let the extra take over from there.

    Probably not the case here but just throwing this out there.

      One more thing to try: Visit the site with your browser in Private or Incognito mode. Sometimes after an upgrade, a left over cookie can mess up the Manager.

      Also, turn on dev. tools in your browser and see if there are any JavaScript errors.

        Thanks for the help guys.... I've attached the Javascript errors that I get when clicking on the affected menu tree in the manager. Not sure what my next step is.

        Willi, is was the previous version of Modx, not an old one. I actually updated and moved servers approx 2 weeks beforehand.

        In a probably unrelated error, I am getting phpthumb errors in the log: Suggestions (or should I start a new thread on this?)

          I solved it!
          The site was moved approx 2 weeks prior & the guys at the host company did it. Turns out the database collation was latin_swedish_1 (the tables remained ut8_unicode_ci)

          When I ran the update, it changed the connection in config.core.php file to latin.

          Once i fixed these, I got my menus back.
