I'm not saying this is your problem, but the debugging method might help you figure it out: https://bobsguides.com/blog.html/2013/05/22/debugging-cmps-a-horror-story/

        Hi Bobray,

Thanks for taking interest against my problem. As you said for debugging, i followed your instruction and i got response with some text, you can see in screen shot.

Can you give me any clue where i am wrong, or how i can upgrade from 2.2.14 to 2.6.5 modx rev, because i tried but old database and new database have some differences.

My site was working fine, but after some script attack on MODX at 20 July, my site is down.

thehighlandtimes.com , if you check this one, i click at any link but it redirect to homepage.

Can you give me any clue if you can, i am struggling from last 10 days but still stuck.

        thanks in advance

You need to look at the Network tab in a dev. tools as described in that article. The error message is likely telling you that a PHP error is being thrown, but you can see the actual message in dev. tools.

If your site has been hacked, though, there's not much point in finding out what the error is. The safest thing to do is to move everything somewhere else, wipe the db and files both, and install a backup from before the hack (if you have one).

If you don't have a backup, I would move the site somewhere else, wipe the files and DB, install the current version of MODX, and cut and paste the content into the new site. Copying just the necessary files of your own after looking them over carefully for signs of hacking.
