    Hi All,

I am trying to restore 4 ModX Revolution websites that were hacked last week.

We first added GoDaddy Security Firewall to the hosting package. Then we deleted the files from the directories through file manager. Then we restored the sites, and databases from July 17th backups. The website returns a 503 Service Unavailable error when I go to the site or the /manager/. The hosting is working, because I can view images files ect, through the browser.

The effected sites are all housed in Addon Domains under the main domain.

We also installed a new Modx Rev in a sub-directory and it works.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Dan

      Maybe check permissions?

It doesn't appear to be permissions. I checked the problem site against the working new install, and the file permissions are the same.

I have spent a lot of time on the phone with Godaddy, but I have not emailed them or opened a trouble ticket. That is a good suggestion. I will do that. Thanks.
