    Hi,

I have several sites that have been hacked recently - I can get restore copies. Can anyone tell me - Do I need to restore the MySQL database files, or does the hack only affect files and folders?

So far I've not heard of anybody having a compromised DB but if you have a recent back up (before July 17th), I would use it. Don't forget to upgrade all extras and especially the Gallery snippet (if installed) to the latest version.

Many thanks. Ive just recovered one site without a DB backup - thanks for reminding me about the Gallery snippet! I did have to add the 'name' field to the mox_context in the mySql table though to get the auto-updater to work...

Might be worth just checking the database for any users that shouldn't be there but as I say, I've not heard of anybody having problems there.
