You’ve put your finger on the issue: Google doesn’t like anything that looks like a sneaky re-direct - and not only will you not be ranked high, you will almost certainly by ranked deliberately low, and possibly even black-listed altogether.
As you almost certainly know, (but other readers of this may not, so please excuse this teaching-grandmothers-to-suck-eggs bit), Flash can be nice to look at, but it is anathema if you want anyone to actually find your page via Google - unless you run the flash within an html page that includes basic navigational data to allow the spiders to spider away. Navigation internal to Flash is invisible to text browsers like web spiders. On my own sites, I have had to throw away thousands of dollars-worth of really cool flash design work - money I could ill-afford to spend - because all the navigation was in Flash, and all attempts to serve text using the Flash executable (although we didn’t try your idea) were spurned by Google and other ’bot-masters. We had exactly one link after over a year.
So I don’t do it any more, and while I use a lot of Flash, when I do it sits inside an html/css page served by Modx. Still cool, but loads of links.

nice read. I always considered Flash as big NO NO but now I see there is also a way to use it. thanks for posting.
Thanks ganeshXL, I hadn’t thought about using the flash div to contain some sort of SEO friendly alternate content rather than the standard text.
