    hi there,
i’ve created a Manager User with an ’editors’ role. the editors role has all the ’content management’ boxes ticked and all the ’general’ ones except the password and view and send messages ones. no other boxes are ticked.
if i try to create a new page it works fine if it’s in the secondary level, only it won’t let me publish to the first level of the nav (i also can’t move exiting pages to the first level). error message is ’you do not have permissions to create or moce a document here! Please choose another location.’
please excuse me if i’m blind... is there another box or 2 i need to tick? thanks smiley

      Hi,

      please go to "Tools"/"Configuration"/"User"

There you have to change "Allow Root" from "No" to "Yes".
        Bye,

Also, if you plan on that user accessing Quick Edit you will need ’Run Module’ ticked as well

thanks a lot bluespark, that’ll come in handy. i’ve turned off the quickedit bar for the site i’m working on as it didn’t seem to like the fact i was using sifr as well. am sure you’ve saved me a question for down the road though, cheers.
