Answered SimpleSearch - Exclude Symlinks from results

Hi there,
i have simple search set up on my site, but I have a lot of symlinks - which creates a lot of multiple results - I'm looking for a way to exclude symlinks, or ONLY include Documents - which ever is easier.
I have researched this, and found a few solutions say to untick 'searchable' in the settings tab of the resources, but I can't see a searchable tab on any of my resources, so not sure if that's from a previous version of Modx?

Andy, look at the checkboxes on the right site of the Settings tab when editing a weblink. I see it all recent versions of MODX, including 2.6.3 and 3.0.0.

Hmm. Strange. The only checkboxes I have are:
Container
Rich text
Cacheable
Empty cache
Deleted

I’ve just checked several modx sites - all running the latest version - and none of the include a ‘searchable’ checkbox in the settings tab!

I can’t see anything within system settings to enable it either.

I'm glad you found it. Does SimpleSearch respect it?
