Site Editor plugin not working throwing error Access denied in console.

I am facing an issue after integration of site editor plugin. When i hit edit icon in front end it shows Access Denied message in console filename connector.php. Help me in debugging this error.

Not familiar with site editor plugin, but it sounds like a permissions issue. Can you upload the image to somewhere like imgur and paste it here? Image attachments aren't working in the forum at the moment.

Are you logged in back-end ?

I'm just testing the extra with MODX 2.6.1-pl. This 'problem' occurs when I'm not logged in back-end or logged and in another context than 'web'.

To work in multi-context I made some modifications (see siteeditor.js, the 'web' context is passed as param).

I just added:

p = JSON.parse(prefs);//required in template header: <script>var prefs='{"ctx":"[[*context_key]]"}';</script>
var xctx = p.ctx;

before:

this.ajax = new Ext.data.Connection({

here is the code:

this.ajax = new Ext.data.Connection({
   url: this.config.connectorUrl,
   disableCaching: true,
   extraParams: {
       //ctx: 'web'
       ctx: xctx
   }
});
