Very recently I installed Formit into Modx 2.6.3 and found that on logging out the login page was totally blank. I then attempted to install it on a completely different website which was running Modx 2.2.6 and the same thing happened. Manually removing the Formit files totally fixed the problem, but it means that I cannot use Formit at all on any new websites. I have used, and still am, Formit on many other sites with no problem until these reecent installs. Anyone also experiencing the same problem?

I have not yet experienced the problem you describe, but, assuming that the installation of Formit is defaulting to version 4, could you manually download version 3, upload it as a local package in 'package management' and then install version 3?

Thanks Andy, that worked perfectly. There is definitely a problem with Formit v4 which I have also attempted to install on several other sites, some of which were completely new Modx installs. Thanks again for you virtually immediate response!

I'm glad it is working. What version of php are you using on the site/s?

          • FormIt needs at least PHP 5.4 and above. Maybe that’s the issue.

Thank you Andy and Jako - fantastic result!!! It was, after all, the php version. I swithched this on one of the problem sites and Formit installed perefectly. Many thanks once again.

Unfortunately, Andy, I closed down my Facebook accounts about 2 weeks ago. Otherwise, I would certainly left a comment and like on your page.

I would be curious webo880 if your site has the system setting "anonymous_sessions" set to false. I recently ran into an issue with a dev site crashing as soon as I logged out. I had to run the setup utility to be able to log back in again. The only difference between dev and prod was dev had FormIt upgraded to 4.0.1 and prod still had 3.0.4. Once I switched anonymous_sessions to true on the dev site the issue went away.
