I don’t think this is a problem with the MODx code per se, but I’m hoping someone can help.
If I click randomly around my site, sometimes I get a blank page with the following errors:

Warning: Unknown(usr/local/home/httpd/index.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown(usr/local/home/httpd/index.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Warning: (null)() [function.include]: Failed opening 'usr/local/home/httpd/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/opt/php-4.4/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0

Reloading the same page generally works.

I’ve tried upgrading to 0.9.6.2 and the same problem occurs.
I’ve also tested another of my sites on a different server (but same LAMP framework) and can reproduce the problem there too.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

What LAMP stack are you using? Presumably this is installed in /usr/local/. Where is your MODx installed?
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

I’ve discovered a potential cause - I forgot to overwrite index.php when I upgraded, so I was using an older version.

I’ve copied the correct version across on my 0.9.6.2 site and (touch wood) haven’t been able to reproduce the problem throughout today.
My older site does still seem to have the problem but I’m hoping if I upgrade the MODx install to the latest version that will resolve it.

My sites were running for well over a year without this happening, but my LAMP servers recently received a fairly major Skel upgrade so I’m thinking some combination of PHP/Apache and MODx may have caused the MODx friendly URL mechanism to intermittently fail. Hopefully the new index.php will resolve it.

        Thanks,
