jquery map plugin question

Hello everyone,

I have a pretty big project that will get a lot of media attention and major corporate sponsorships, and I need some advice or points in the right direction. First, my js skills are lacking, and I usually use an already made js map plugin. These are awesome and work, but...I need something much more complicated, great ui/ux, and no slow loading iframe (yuck). I will bullet what it needs

• A bicycle route basically going all over the US stopping in several cities. I would need a giant map showing the route with lines from beginning to end.
• A second map of each week of the trek, the (state city) they stop in, a way to post image, video, audio short bio when the marker is clicked.
• A way to share across all socials with one-click

I have looked everywhere and am out of ideas. Right now I have a really bad iframe as mostly a visual placeholder.

A custom Google map?

Or a way I can do it on my own with newbie documentation. Trying to stay well on budget

That was kinda what I was doing and it is awesome. That iframe though kills speed and looks meh lol. Thank you will keep researching.

You could always style it with snazzy maps too.
