Goodnews upgrade problem (1.4.6 -> 1.4.8)

On some website I have Goodnews 1.4.6 installed and, in Package Management, updgrade to modal 1.4.8 is proposed and new version installation is OK. (MODX 2.6.1)

One another with 1.4.2, then 1.4.6 installed, upgrade to 1.4.8 is not proposed -- Why ? (MODX 2.5.5) And when I upload the latest version manually and install it Goodnews is available as a new package (1.4.6 is not visible) and not as an upgrade to the installed version, once installed, it crash the Goodnews CMP (error 500). The download page at modx.com/extras used to report the minimum *and maximum* version of MODX the package will run with. I don't see it there any more, but maybe the author set the "up to" to a version before 2.6.1.
