Site Duplication

Hi All

I’ve been asked to duplicate a website i’ve recently built for a sister company. It will be hosted on a different server in a new database. Can someone inform me of what i need to do to copy the database to this new server? I’ve already installed Modx on the new server but how do I import the completed site db into the new one?

I’ve tried in myphpadmin but am having no luck? Can someone give me step by step guide or point me in the right direction where this may have been documented?

step 6 may be a little vague if you don’t know how to use phpMyAdmin, basically you need to dump the existing DB into an sql file and import it into the new DB. Have a look at the phpMyAdmin databse export/import utilities.
