Help with Dynamic Image Resizing

Has anyone used pthumb and imageslimHISRC to do dynamic image resizing on a page for different screen sizes?

Or any other solution.

IE When a screen size changes the image size changes accordingly.

Just to be clear. My design already resizes the images visually, but the underlying orignal image weight and dimensions stays the same. I'm after a technical solution to change the dimensions and weight to speed up load times.

I tried imageHISRC with no luck, mind you the instructions were a bit on the minimal side.

Looks promising, but there's no instructions.

looks like you just install it and adjust the system settings to your needs.

Instructions
Install the extra over the package manager.
Adjust system settings to fit your needs.
