Limit text in "title" and "introtext" ?

I have a simple question...

Can I (and how if it is possible) limit the text input on pagetitle and introtext fields ?

I don’t know if ManagerManager can do this, but you could take a look at that!
And else you could edit the core files to limit the input on the fields OR you can make a plugin which just cut’s the text into the maximum length.

Open up the relevant file and set a max chars on the input field?

where can I find that?

manager/actions/mutate_content.dynamic.php contains document create/edit form.

The thing with title worked, but on introtext didn’t... don’t know why
