I have installed mxformbuilder on MODX Revolution 2.6.1-pl platform to create forms form the website I am creating.

When I click the create new button I get a dialog box to create a new form. I entered a name "testing" in the name textbox and click save and add fields. Please wait message box comes up and the saving progress bar stays on for ever (> 10 mins).

What do I need to do to make the crete new form work?

Don't think that extra has been updated for a few years so probably doesn't work with 2.6

      Requires Revolution 2.2.x or greater
      Compatible up to Revolution 2.2.x

If you're looking for a non technical way to build forms then you could always try formalicious from modmore/sterc.

I can build the form manually but having a pluggin would save a whole lot of time.

          LK

          - is the per site option on modmore a one-off payment or is there recurrent fees to keep it working on the site.

          - will it still work without further payment for future update of the site

It's a one off payment no recurring fees and free minor feature updates. I think you also get 12 months support iirc:) good luck

If someone is interested in using plugins to add a contact form to the site, you can try this one: https://elfsight.com/online-form-builder. He has a lot of functions, it gives complete freedom of action.

After so much time, the topic is still popular. I hope my late response will be useful for someone.

Yeah so integration with Modx was no problem? Is there an integration guide perhaps?

What type of guide are you looking for exactly, sorry I'm not following?
