Extended profiles

Hi everybody,

I am trying to set up a site like match.com and don’t know the method for extended profiles.

Is there a ressource for that ? (i didn’t find any)

If not, i will code it myself. What is the solution for that ? Create tables for extended profiles would it be better than adding fields to existing user profiles tables. What do you think about that please ?

Does a good job of extending user profiles, using the `modx_web_user_attributes_extended ` table in the DB.

I hope it won’t be in conflit with weblogin and webeditprofile that I use too.

It replaces WebLogin.
It uses the same basic DB fields & info, but then takes it further.

ok i see, and will webeditprofile be able to manage with fields on the new tables or should i code that ?
