Just installed this extra ModxMinify
https://modx.com/extras/package/modxminify but I can't get it to save any groups. EG I press save and nothing happens.
Anybody using this extra and know how to get it working?

Doh, check the error log, why didnt I think of that.
Basically it seems to be saying it hasn't been created in the db

I also asked this question on Github and apparently it is a known issue with no solution yet.
So as an alternative I just pasted all my js and css into one file (that's one each) and then minified them using Yslow and Pagespeed over at GTmetrix.
Probably better that way than having an extra do it.

That's definitely faster and more reliable than minifying them on the fly.

The trick of course is to copy and paste them in the order in which they are called on your page.
