Answered Glitch when working with containers

Hello. I am trying to set up a blog on my modx site using the articles add-on. I am following a tutorial, and it tells me to create a container. I create the said container no problem, and can input the template and what not, but after I hit save, I cannot edit the container any further. I click on the container, and it simply does nothing. I can click on and edit any template/resource/snippet/chunk, but absolutely NOTHING comes up when I go to click on the container in the sidebar.

is there a workaround for this? I have tried it on two different computers, with different web browsers on each to no avail.

What happens if you go directly to the url?

****.com/manager/?a=resource/update&id=****

Replace the *** with your domain and the id of the container.

Articles actually isn't supported any more though and if you're running the latest version of MODX then I guess there could be issues with it potentially (I can't say for sure as I haven't used articles for a long time). The more widely used alternative seems to be collections nowadays.
