Change the name of the 'manager' directory?

Is it possible to change the name of the manager directory for a MODx install? Expression Engine allows this for security purposes... when I tried it, stuff broke. Is there a comprehensive list of what might need to be updated if I wanted to change the name of this directory? Ideally, the directory name would be a constant defined somewhere...

There is a way to do it in 096, I believe, but requires modifying a lot of existing code, and makes upgrading near impossible.

That said, this is already working in the Revolution version, which is currently in alpha, and hopefully will be in beta Jan/Feb 09.
