Document save keeps loading..

Hi All,

Many times I'm not able to save a document. While it does save it stays loading and loading. Weird error message in the console. Anyone knows how to fix this?

TinyMCE could be the problem, especially if there's an update available.

It could also be a plugin with a problem, or one that needs to be updated. Try disabling any plugins attached to OnDocFormSave or other other events that could fire when saving a document. Manually delete all files in the core/cache directory after disabling the plugins and before testing.

Thanks Bob. Using CK and turing it off did not solve the problem. Will check which plugins run on OnDocFormSave.

If it's specific documents that won't save, it could be mod_security, but in that case the save would normally fail.

Hmm, seems that the problem wont appear in Firefox..maybe an browser extension?

It could be.

I know at one time a mismatched date_timezone setting could also interfere with saving -- not sure if this is still the case.
