I get systematically and error when I try to submit my first extra :-/
"Extra Name* An error occurred while trying to create the Extra."
I tried several times.
Any idea ?

Could there already be an extra with that name?
Are there any spaces, quotes, or unusual characters in the name of the extra?

I also tried a single word, without special chars.
I'll try tomorrow again.

Did you select a file in the core/packages directory?
Note that in the core/packages directory, there are two files for each package. Sometimes I forget and select the wrong one. You want the one that ends in 'transport.zip' which is always further down the list. Make sure the first part of that filename matches the package name you gave in the form (although the name in the form can be mixed-case -- while the transport package file should be in all lowercase).

I tried with package name :
xb3a11y
The package filename is :
xb3a11y-1.0.0-pl.transport.zip
It was build with MyComponents and I have successfully tested/installed the extra by uploading it with package manager.

That's really odd. Did you try a package name without any numbers in it?
BTW, screenshots aren't working right now in the Manager, so we can't see what happens when you submit a package. You have to upload them somewhere else and provide a link to them.
I've asked Jay (smashingred) from MODX to check on this.
