I am trying to create a gallery and need it to be either searchable or sortable on tags. I am using MoreGallery and am running into 2 issues.
1. I uploaded a hundred images to my first gallery, these images can be used for multiple product types, colors and usage categories. I am not seeing an easy way to add tags to multiple images at once. Is there any way to do this?
2. I need to be able to access the images by tags that are set by a checkbox, list or button and cannot find an example of how to do this. Can anyone direct me to a good tutorial or example of how to create a multi-use gallery.

MoreGallery doesn't have bulk tag assignments, but it sounds like for your use case it might be better to create a gallery resource per product type?
To filter frontend images based on tags, use the &tags property on the mgGetImages snippet call.
Not sure if the resource per product type would be the best here. Let me try to explain better and see it you still think so or if I am overthinking this.
Let's say I am a car dealer creating a gallery of vehicles. Cars, minivans, trucks and SUVs. Creating a gallery per product type would be great if I need to show cars, minivans,truck or SUVs and then sort by color, MPG, towing capabilities etc.
But if a customer wants to looks at all vehicles that can tow or all vehicles that are blue wouldn't it be better to create a single gallery where everything is tagged or (just thought of this) can you go up a level in your more gallery search to include all galleries by tag?

Also, any chance adding bulk tag assignments will be added in the future? could have thousands of images and don't see why I would bulk upload if I can't tag at the same time or later
Okay, including multiple galleries in moregallery worked. I now just have to play with the tags.
