Is it possible for newsletter sign up and to have data sort??

Hi,

Can i have a situation whereby i have multiple newsletter sign up areas for specific sections of the site and for the name, email and address to be kept in a database so i can sort them within manager and send newsletters out accordingly?

Is this possible with any snippet at the moment or would this have to be written from scratch?

Thanks for any pointers.

J
