I’m fairly new to ModX but things were working well. I have 3 ’sites’ - each have their own database and directory. I started fiddling with the blog - and that’s when things started to not go well - it hung up Firefox real bad - and now I can’t login to one of the three. (The other two seem to be fine.) The password reset feature doesn’t seem to be working.
Is there a way to re-set it from within my Site5 folders/files? Upload a file? Another way? (I’m using 0.9.6.2)
Thanks
I did upload all the files and did a re-install - that didn’t fix the issue.
(PS - once I get back access - I will then be exploring my blog issues!)

Is it in the manager "www.site.com/manager" back-end u cannot login? Or is it from the login front-end of ur webpage?
If manager
Change password in table "modx_manager_users" inside your database with PHPMyAdmin and save it with MD5 encryption.
Once inside manager create/edit webuser for frontend blogging....
Thanks. I looked there and found the spot (small feeling of success for me at getting that far)- and got a bit overwhelmed so had someone else look it over and they said it looked overall corrupted as the database showed that I had been successfully logging in. I’ll be deleting it and starting over (for the amount of content involved so far this isn’t a biggie). Thanks because I knew just where to look. (I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my newbie-ness led to me doing something and which won’t happen again!).
