    I am building a blog built with Tagger in modx and everything is working great. Except I have one section where the client will need a category(group) list on a sidebar with a tag count for each Group. I use pdo tools for menus but I think my head is broken.

    <li><a href="#">Generic Category<span>(19)</span></a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Generic Category<span>(21)</span></a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Generic Category<span>(15)</span></a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Generic Category<span>(35)</span></a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Generic Category<span>(16)</span></a></li>

    My Attempt at a Menu I should probably get it to show before the count.

    [[pdoMenu?
      &startId=`8`
      &level=`2`
      &limit=`5`
      &tpl=`blog.group_links_tpl`
    ]]

    And lastly the chunk

    <li><a href="[[+link]]">[[+groups]]<span>([[+count]])</span></a></li>

    I Am at a loss as [[+groups]] is really just a placeholder not a real TV. Is there an easier way to achieve this?

          some more information about what you are after?
          how should the url of the tagger-group - link look like?
          what does the landing-pages from that links show?

            *also using blogit plugin if that helps

            the url I believe should get all the resources in the category

            I have already created dummy categories or groups(tagger)
            I can call the tags and list them easily enough by adding this
            [[!TaggerGetTags? &resources=`[[*id]]` &rowTpl=`blogit.tag_links_tpl` &separator=`, ` &target=`[[++blogit.blog_container_id]]`]]

            I am pretty sure once I know how to call the categories they can <li> by @inline like pdomenu. I am truly sorry if I am not making any sense.

              Still not sure, to understand, what you want and about your setup.
              The categories, which you are talking about are tagger-tags?

              Are you talking about tagger-groups? But resources are not connected to tagger-groups. They can only have tagger-tags.

                That is kind of what I am thinking. I was hoping that the categories the tags sat in or assigned to could be listed somehow as a menu.
