I have an issue here. Suddenly all checkBox TVs will to be saved anymore. Al other TV-Types work fine.
I have no Idea what it can be.
Have you tried logging out and back into your MODX Manager? How about clearing the entire site cache? (not using the manager but rather by going into your file manager and deleting the entire contents of the core/cache/ folder)
Have you recently installed or uninstalled any MODX Extras?
No, I have nothing new installed ore something. Clearing the cache via MODx also done. But nothing changed.
I changed the checkbox TV to a multi select listbox-type. And a again...it do not save.
Could the value of the TV be something that mod_security doesn't like? If the host changed the mod_security rules, that could explain it.
BTW, chrisholowatyj's suggestion was to manually delete all files in the core/cache directory, not to clear the cache via MODX (which doesn't clear the entire cache). It's definitely worth a try.
No, the values are normal words like YES||NO etc.
My Idea was now to make an Upgrade to the latest MODx-Version.
The SETUP starts, I choose UPGRADE, it's check's the directors, (everything OK),
the I hit INSTALL NOW and I get an error 500.
What can ist be?
An error 500 during setup could be caused by a plugin that doesn't play nice with setup. You can disabling plugins by right-clicking on them in the tree. Clear the cache after disabling them (and you may need to manually delete the core/cache files again).
Another possibility would be a permission problem with one or more directories.
Are you using the UpgradeMODX extra? If not, I'd give that a try. It will delete all the core/cache files as part of its process.
