So I'm having a weird issue that has just started happening out of the blue. We have never had a problem before and now it's decided to be a pain in the ass.
The problem is that when I upload a new folder/file via the resource browser, everything works great, it displays the thumbnails and everything, however when I actually check that the file was uploaded in my ftp, it's not there.
It also goes both ways, if I upload a folder/file via ftp, and then go looking for it in the File manager, MODx can't find it, despite being able to browse to the file in my browser.

All permissions are correct on the server and file / asset paths are correct in manager.
So I upload a file via the manager... I get a 404 on the image (but shows in MODx). If i upload via ftp, it doesn't show in the manager file list, but the file can be browsed to, so it definitely exists.
Sorry I have no idea how to explain this, it doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone help? I've contacted my client's host to see if anything has changed with the server configuration.
