Got a nasty problem with the modx S3 media source type:
1. Probably not just Amazon, but I cannot select a folder using the Amazon S3 instance as a TV media source - ex, the client has all thier website media stored in S3, including slide shows ~ individual images stored in a folder. I need to be able to select the path/url of the folder so I can build the slide show. (no a url TV type does not work)
2. Is there a limit/maximum on the number of files modx will process/handle from an S3 request? The client has thousands.... if you look at the XML doc retrieved from a browser request to the bucket, Amazon lists everything recursively to what appears to be a default limit of 1000 items.
The problem here is that when trying to access the S3 media source, it just spins it's loading wheel & does nothing - it does not load any files, no error messages in any logs (debug level) nothing.
So - is it possible to select a folder path using a media source and what is going on with what appears to be a timeout? how can we troubleshoot this??
