So my client has a server farm with 5 servers. They manage and login on 1 of those servers (staging) the assets folder is mounted on the other 4 servers and they share an external database. Does anyone know if there is a wrapper or setting I can put in somewhere that when they save a chunk or resource, it clears it from the cache on all 5 servers, not just the 1? Since it is a heavily used folder I wouldn't want this to be mounted.

    Any tricksters out there?

It's not just a single setting to swap, but the extra "Remotes" is what you could use for it. It allows the main server to send a clear cache command to others.

I haven't used it myself and the MODX site is down atm, but the source is on github: https://github.com/opengeek/remotes I think there's a blog post or RTFM page explaining in more detail how to set it up.

FYI... until I have remotes installed I am using this method too:
