I have a problem affecting a site which I don’t think is a modx problem but wonder if anyone can shed any light on this and give me some pointers on what else to try.

I have an issue on just one of my sites using 0.9.6.1.p2 that once logged into the manager if I preview any of the pages this kills the session and I have to log back in again to access the manager, I have been working around this by updating in the manager in Firefox but using I.E to preview the pages, I at last had some time sort this problem but the mystery deepens.

I droped all tables in the database and uploaded 0.9.6.3.rc2 run the install as a new site and had exactly the same login problem with this which must rule out modx, I deleted the .htaccess files on the server everything else is just folders webpages and images.

For a little more info I then put the original database back up and run the install file to update from 0.9.6.1p2 to 0.9.6.3rc2 done the upgrade which all said successful but I still had the same log in problem but also the site returned parse errors when viewed but the manager worked fine.

    Server details
    Apache version 2.2.10 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.6
    MySQL version 5.0.51a-community

Something somewhere is not happy I wonder if there has been a problem from a previous upgrade however this login problem is what I cant solve does anyone have any ideas on what else to try.

    Thanks Ian
