    Hi Guys'n Gals.
I'm desperate for a desktop version of WEBCEO but am finding it difficult to source a version.I'm not averse to buying one but I don't want to get stuck with ongoing monthly or annual costs.
If anyone has one they can sell or point me to a free version I'd be a very happy person.

This is an open source community of developers. We aren't going to do anything detrimental to other developers who have invested time and money into their work. If someone has set a price on their work, then that is the price you need to pay.

The greatest compliment you can give back to us, is to spend a few seconds leaving a rating at our trustpilot: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/alienbuild.uk about the service we provided. We always drop mention of services offered by businesses we've worked with in the past to those of interest.

Can't see the argument with that. I don't want something for nothing. I want a programme that's not available as far as I can see so was asking if anyone knew of a source for it, paid for, or a free version of it that was available at the time. The earlier versions were desktop based rather than cloud and were bought outright rather than in monthly or annual fees. It's a continuous fee based programme that I don't need or want since the website I wish to develop is of minimal size and doesn't change much.
        Perhaps I didn't explain sufficiently.

If I'm understanding things, WEBCEO is proprietary software, so the company that produces it would have to develop a version that works in MODX. It doesn't seem very likely.

You might find something here that would work for you: https://modx.com/extras/browse/?search=seo. Seo Pro looks promising.
