I wonder if I should move from "another script" to modx.

That depends on the multi-site / multi-domain capability of modx.

A search did reveal a few questions to the subject. Some of them even received a "reply" but weren’t answered.

The questions remains: how to multi-site and multi-domain a modx installation. I have six domains on two hosted servers. I cannot manipulate the server - except by an .htaccess file.

    Thanks for any support.

You can accomplish this using the upcoming Revolution (0.9.7) release, but that still in Alpha testing. You would use different contexts for the different domains. I’m not entirely sure how it all works as I am waiting for a beta release and more documentation before I start digging around.

There is also some sort of hack in the repository for multi-site support with 0.9.6.x. I haven’t used it so I can’t say much about it.

      Hope that helps some,
