Restore backup procedure

I’ve searched but can’t find instructions for restoring a site backup (say, upgrade goes very wrong, original version needs to go back up so there’s something there, etc).

I can guess but would feel safer if someone provided basic steps - OR pointed me to the instructions that I haven’t been able to find

I would export the db
Save all files

If something goes wrong put the old files in place and restore db

I guess is like moving the site to a new host but without some extra steps

It’s written in PHP. If you can run MODx then you can run BkupMODx.
