    Hello

Are there any plans to create a web site registration service where webmasters can record all of their MODX sites and it polls them (or a cronjob pushes) the list of installed packages and version numbers so that webmasters have a single resource where to check to see what needs to be upgraded?

I think that would be most useful. If not, it would be great if each site could do this.

I have a client who specifically wanted a WP blog and some of its plugins nag me whenever there is an update.

    Kind regards

    James

Packages are already registered at the MODX extra repository, and the Package Manager section in the MODX Manager shows an Update button for any package that has a new version available.

That said, a plugin or cron-job-executable snippet that sent emails listing installed packages with updates and/or a widget that showed them on the Manager dashboard would be a nice feature.
