Using Revo 2.5.7, I simply can't seem to remove the .html extension. I've updated the `container_suffix` setting to an empty string (nothing). I've also set the HTML content type extension to the same value (empty string (nothing)). I've cleared the cache through the manager, as well as through CLI. I've tried the recommended steps mentioned in previous posts related to this issue and simply can't seem to get around it.

Any other tips or solution ideas?

    Thanks!
    • I'm pretty sure that this is because the URI has been saved for each resource, and that's what is getting used. Once each resource is saved, forcing a refresh of its stored URI, then the expected URL is generated.

The Clear Cache menu has a sub-menu, Refresh URIs, that should take care of the problem for you.

      • By the way, you cannot set the "container_suffix" to blank if you are using friendly URL paths. In that case, the container's URL must end with a "/" in order to create the correct path, "parent/child".
