Spanish Installation

I’ve got a project that will have an english and spanish version of the site.
1. I assume that the spanish version will need to be a completely different MODx install...yes/no?
2. What should the database collation be?
3. Any other considerations for a spanish installation?

Do everything in UTF8 across the board for any languages. Many have done more than one site per install (language) ... depends on the content requirements as to the best approach though.
