Can anyone recommend a module that allows to integrate a basic eCommerce store to a website built on MODX Evo 1.2?
All the ones I can find are either unsupported/inactive now or impossible to work out what to do as the documentation is either out of date or all in Russian.
Surely there must be something out there?

I'm not too familiar with Evo these days but I did see that someone made a kind of integration between Evo and OpenCart last year. You could potentially look into that but it might be overkill for what you're after.

I have used FoxyCart successfully with Modx Evolution before.
FoxyCart takes care of the ecommerce side of things invluding the transactions on their servers. Evolution can take care of the products - in our install I built the products as pages in the LHS Tree with template variables for pricing etc. It's not plug and play though - you would need to create the stuff that Foxycart needs and it may be a little simple for your needs but worth a look of you haven;t found a solution yet.
