I am getting a document lock on a page that hasn’t been edited in over a year. The person is no longer with the company, so I don’t know their password. Is there any way to override a document lock?

Man,
This thing just keeps getting deeper and deeper. I thought I knew MODx really well then I see these tips and the one from Jason about a plugin saving to other tables.
My head swims again... I gotta say the more I learn, the easier and more powerful it seems! Kudos again.

I’ve worked with CubeCart, and had hacks to hacks and more hacks in between hacks, until you had a tangled mess that was impossible to upgrade. Almost every site I build requires something a little different from what everybody else does, so I am constantly feeling a strong sense of appreciation to the MODx dev team for provided a system that is so easily and cleanly extensible (mod X
). Between TVs, modules, and plugins it’s never really necessary to modify the core (unless it’s for such a generally useful but not bloating feature that it should become part of the core).
