    Hello everybody.
After I install the component, folder assets/components/component_name can't create.
When i go to component page, I see empty component page and the errors in console: js/css files from assets/components/component_name can't be found.
I set the rights 777 to folder assets/components, trying to reinstall the components after it, clear the cache.
I tried to set "extensions_packages" in system settings as it mentioned here: https://forums.modx.com/thread/80961/gallery-and-dashboard-error.

This problem is not related to rights, because i wrote to my hosting support, and they set all the rights, needed to create files and folders by server process.

Yeah sounds like a permissions and ownership issue.

Are you using the designated FTP associated with that webspace? IF you use root or something similar it can sometimes change ownership of the folders.

I agree with LK, it does look to be a permission problem on the server. Are you able to change the permissions yourself or just the webhost?
