Ditto with a custom template for each item

Hello,
I’m looking into implementing a magazine like-feature in MODx. Each page (document) has its own layout which can output XML. I’m looking into Ditto as a easy way to put the pages (documents) together. Is it possible to associate a custom template for each ditto element?

You could create a Template Variable where you can put a class name in, then you lett output that with ditto as a classname for a div. That way you can style every document different.

I don’t know if it is possible to choose a real different template with every document.
