Sometimes, after I've made some changes with a Chunk or Template Variable and saved it, the Manager doesn't work anymore.
Also, Galleries don't work in the Frontend.
In the Manager I only receive the message "undefined", no tree is loaded, it's all white.
I have to clear Cache manually by deleting folder core/cache/* to bring the Manager (and Galleries) to work.
Unfortunately, no Error Messages inside MODx Manager are shown so I don't know what's the problem.
It seems like the Cache is "invalid".
What could be the problem here?
Have you checked your error logs on the server? Don't know you're environment, but there's almost certainly some error records in your error log directory on the server which will contain errors not present in the manager error log. Also, turn on your browser's javascript console so you can view javascript errors. Much of the manager runs on Javascript, so error reporting in the browser will also help sort out the problem.
What version of MODX are you running? Some of the early 2.2 versions had issues with cache corruption.
It could also be a mod_security issue with the specific content of the chunk or TV.
